What the Democrats are afraid of

Sarah Palin showed America she is real. She’s not a power hungry Washington insider looking to do the business of some special interest group. She’s a working mom raising a family with problems and concerns just like the rest of us. As she stated, she isn’t poll and focus group tested. She is who she is.

Waiting for the real Sarah Palin

This was supposed to be Sarah Palin’s speech of a lifetime. I’m betting it’s not. She’ll have others, even if her ticket loses in November. But it might prove to be the speech of John McCain’s career. Maybe even more important than his acceptance speech.

Hillary’s Legacy

But some Clinton supporters—acting like classic sore losers—seem bent on helping Obama lose. I’m completely confused by those Clinton supporters who have turned to Senator McCain. Do they really see him as the “woman’s” candidate?

Happy Birthday, Earth Day; You’re On Your Own

The nation that invented the atom bomb to end World War II could take on global climate change with the same kind of drive and innovation By Elan Barnehama I’m thinking that President Bush had the annual celebration of Earth Day in mind when he announced last week that the U.S. strategy for tackling global … Continue reading “Happy Birthday, Earth Day; You’re On Your Own”
